Maridi County has reopened schools for candidate classes
Maridi County education department has finally reopened schools today for candidates class after 8 month of closer due to the world spread covid- 19 epidemic, the reopening of the schools is to preparing the candidates for primary leaving examination (PLE) and South Sudan certificate for secondary examination (SSCSE)
Speaking to the press, Maridi county education director Mr. Elia Zachariah says ‘’ Classes for P.8 will run from this October through February with examination and S.4 will sit for their examination in March next year.’’
Zachariah advise all the parents and guardians whose children are in P.8 and S.4 to go for their normal classes as it was planned by the ministry of general education and instruction in juba
For her part the headmistress of Wake Up nursery and Primary school Madam Angua Topista welcomed the reopening of the schools to candidate saying that is the wise decision taken by the government to reopen schools for candidates to prepare them sits for their exams next year.
Topista added that in her school they started with immediate lessons today for pupils of about 35 out of 40 saying parents should send their children back to school.
